The Astrobiology Society has recently changed leadership. The new Chair of the Society is Monika Kress. There have been several substantial changes to the Society’s goals and membership dues.

Your membership dues will now go toward the support of students and early-career educators in their activities that focus on the origin, evolution, distribution and fate of life in the universe. Other ideas for how the Society can serve your needs as a researcher or educator are most welcome.

Instead of a subscription to the journal Astrobiology, your membership contribution will support students to present their astrobiology research at conferences and to travel to research sites. The website and membership services are all done on a volunteer basis.

A greatly-discounted online subscription to the journal Astrobiology will be available to all members of the Astrobiology Society. The current rate is $109/year. Please add that to your payment.
