Stellar Luminosity Parameter

The stellar luminosity measures the star's total energy output and thus the amount of energy reaching the planet. If the other factors remain constant, increasing the luminosity will provide more energy for both reflection and aborption.    An increase in luminosity will produce an increase in the "reflected sunlight" peak in the spectrum. In addition the planet will also absorb more energy which will lead to more heating of the surface. This means the infrared peak will become larger AND move toward smaller wavelengths (according to Wein's Law).
In the "Visual Appearance" display, increasing the luminosity will make the star and the planet "brighter".
