The vendors of trinkets and souvenirs in the park across from the Meikles Hotel in Harare. They prefer US money to Zimbabwe paper and we accommodated them many times. They even wanted to trade for our shoes but MY shoes would have set back US-Zimbabwe relations irreparably.
