The Big Show

This is the 25,000 "seat" ampitheater in downtown Ephesus. It must have been built before the discovery of seat cushions. It is still used today, probably for music concerts, and the little moat is used to keep groupies from charging the stage.

Release the Lions

That's me sitting in the front row near the stairs to the left of center. I've been watching the stage for some time now and I am not being entertained. Perhaps a few wild animals should be added, just for authenticity ...

Showtime

An ancient Ephesian waits for the entertainment to begin. Judging from the attendance, it's probably a Blue Jays - Marlins game. The ancient wristwatch would be expected to have Roman numerals.
